Blue Marks Hologram

30 min.

The piece is constructed of emotional movements and actions, and the subsequent meanings they convey. During the piece, the actions dismantle their meaning and are left only as momentum, texture, rhythm or movement that is bent by imagination. Violent gestures of the body change their essence within the context of the dance; they turn into beauty and aesthetics while also manifesting evilness, apathy and alienation.

Made with the generous support of Mifal Hapais

Premiered 14.11.14, Curtain Up Festival, Suzan Dallal, Tel Aviv, Israel

Performed by Shani Garfinkel and Ayala Frenkel. Soundtrack Design: Yarden Elbocher. Costume Design: Kim Teitelbaum. Light Design: Omer Sheizaf.

Thor

30 min.

I am imagining a reality beyond the glass that surrounds the exhibits in the museum, trying to create modern gods and insisting to mould them from the same materials that ignited the imagination of the ancient Egyptians. Which artefacts will survive and which ones will tell the truth   of our existence? Will the stories be realistic or defective? I enjoy the defects, the fantasies that became an inseparable part of our daily existence, the ability to imagine, create, effect reality and create a culture or a society.
Premiered 12.12.17, Israel Museum, Jerusalem, Israel

Performed by Moran Yitzhaki Abergel and Bosmat Nossan

A New Duet

40 min.

In these times, the choreographer needs to be able to be aware of everything. ‘Dance’ is a partner of the artistic trend that became a reflexive-political rule. This piece is trying to learn from the central choreographers of our time, and to clean up a bit of their awareness by locating their blindspots, this way, perhaps we can let go a bit of our own awareness and actually be able to create an output about “the Dance of today”. Meanwhile, we will gain our own imagined tale, looking towards a future that has a lot of knowledge but without a delusion of awareness.
Premiered 11.12.14, Room Dance Festival, Tel Aviv, Israel

Choreography and Performance: Ido Feder and Bosmat Nossan

Misfits

30 min.

Three figures wear and disrobe shapes; their movement acts as a costume. They become rock stars for a minute and suddenly shift into origami swans. The figures initiate interaction with one another, but the different characters they possess produce an unstable environment which creates problematic connections.
